Hey, I was Penny in your Hollow Earth game -- that SUCKED when the GM was keeping you from playing the character as written, especially since he wrote the character and should understand the range in which someone would play it. His little "lame-ass action" comment was such poor game management, I couldn't even believe it. I felt bad for you guys and didn't blame you at all for taking off when you did (and wouldn't have blamed you for leaving a lot earlier, either).

I had another HEX game the next day that happened to be with that same GM (and I played Penny again), and he did have one instance where he shut someone down by saying "no no, don't correct me" -- but it wasn't as egregious as his completely uncalled-for comments he made to you in our game, which just brought everything to a halt and snapped us all out of the role-playing spirit.

I liked the podcast, good job --
